IPL (PHOTO FACIAL)
An IPL/Photo facial is a specialized light system that can address both brown and red spots on the skin anywhere on the body. Intense Pulsed Light also reduces visible signs of sun damage and aging on the face, neck and chest.
V-BEAM SKIN LASER
The Vbeam Laser produces burst of light that selectively destroys the blood vessels anywhere on the body. In fact, this pulsed dye laser treatment is so safe that it has been used successfully for the treatment of port wine stains in infants and young children. This laser can be used to treat rosacea, stretch marks, warts and keloids.
SKIN TIGHTENING (THERMAGE)
Thermage is one of the latest FDA-approved nonablative procedures for maintaining a youthful appearance. It is not a laser. It is a radio frequency (RF) system. The advanced Thermacool system incorporates a cryogen-cooling spray to protect the skin’s outer surface while the RF energy heats and modifies the soft tissues beneath the skin. This causes the collagen to contract and tighten. Each patient’s Thermage treatment is customized by the system to control the depth and degree of the heating process to be right for you.
LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Lasers are very effective in the treatment of unwanted hairs. The best results are achieved on dark hairs with fair skin background but other factors influence the treatment process. Lasers penetrate the depth of the follicle and target melanin, disabling that follicle. To be effective, your hair has to be in the right stage of its growth cycle known as anagen (when the hair contains an abundance of melanin). Effective hair removal laser treatments need to happen during the anagen stage of hair growth. And in order to address the varying hair follicle cycles of your body (each hair follicle cycles independently, so they won’t all be at the same time), a series of treatments are needed. With the right professional and equipment, you can often achieve the long term results.
