Meet Dr. Safaee

Maryam Safaee is a dedicated medical professional, dual-trained in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine, having completed her training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and University of Washington in Seattle.  As a board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Safaee’s passion for her field is evident not only in her clinical practice but also in her academic pursuits. She has made notable contributions to the world of dermatology with her research, having been published in several esteemed academic journals.

Dr. Safaee’s commitment to the advancement of dermatology extends beyond the confines of the clinic. She proudly serves on numerous national committees dedicated to the betterment and progression of dermatological studies and practices. Her involvement with the UC Irvine dermatology group provides her with the platform to mentor and teach the next generation of dermatology residents, fostering their growth and knowledge.
