Step 1: Eliminate Stubborn Fat Effortlessly

Say goodbye to hard-to-lose fat with CoolSculpting. Enjoy the comfort of reading, catching up on emails, watching your favorite show, or taking a nap during your procedure!

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate unwanted fat cells. Developed by ZELTIQ Aesthetics, CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared and clinically proven to reduce fat in treated areas by up to 25% in just one session.[1] The procedure works by using a device to deliver precise cooling to the fat layer below the skin, which targets and eliminates fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissue. CoolSculpting is a convenient, non-surgical alternative to liposuction and other invasive body contouring procedures and requires no downtime or recovery time.

With CoolSculpting, you will benefit from the following:

  • A non-surgical treatment
  • No scarring
  • No anesthesia
  • Non-invasive
  • A safe treatment

Step 2: Gain Muscle Tone Without Hitting the Gym with Emsculpt

EmSculpt is a revolutionary, non-invasive body contouring treatment that helps you build muscle and tone your body without a gym visit. Using high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy, EmSculpt stimulates muscle contractions in targeted areas, effectively strengthening and toning muscles in a way that traditional exercise cannot. With just a few short sessions, EmSculpt can help you achieve a more sculpted, toned appearance without requiring intense workouts or surgery. Say goodbye to the gym and hello to a stronger, more defined physique with EmSculpt.

Tone your calves, build strong biceps and triceps, strengthen your core, and lift and tighten your booty as you benefit from:

  • Building muscle and enhancing muscle tone without traditional exercise
  • A non-invasive and pain-free procedure
  • No downtime or recovery time
  • Strengthing and toning abdominal, gluteal, and other targeted muscles
  • A more sculpted, toned appearance
  • A safe and FDA-cleared procedure

Emsculpt can be combined with other body contouring treatments for optimal results, which is why Dr. Kormeili combines it with CoolSculpting for a body you have to see to believe. Early tests with EmSculpt show that using it causes fat cells to die; this means that HIFEM treatment affects how fat is broken down in the body.[2] See a 16% increase in muscle mass and exceptionally high patient satisfaction with EmSculpt! Who is the Ideal Candidate?

The ideal candidate for EmSculpt and CoolSculpting are individuals looking for a non-surgical solution to enhance their body’s appearance and improve the way they look and feel.

For EmSculpt, the ideal candidate is someone who wants to build muscle and tone specific areas of the body, such as the abs, glutes, or arms. EmSculpt is best suited for individuals in good health and with realistic expectations for the procedure’s outcome.

For CoolSculpting, the ideal candidate is someone who wants to eliminate stubborn fat deposits in specific areas of the body, such as the belly, love handles, or thighs. CoolSculpting is best suited for patients within a healthy weight range and with pockets of stubborn fat resistant to diet and exercise.

It’s essential to consult with a qualified healthcare provider who specializes in body contouring treatments to determine if EmSculpt or CoolSculpting is right for you. Dr. Kormeili can assess your health and determine the best course of action for you to create your dream body.

Personal Consultation

A consultation allows the patient to meet with Dr. Kormeili and discuss their body contouring goals and concerns. Dr. Kormeili will examine the patient’s body, take their medical history, and discuss the best treatment options for their needs. The consultation provides a platform for the patient to ask questions and receive answers about the procedure, risks, benefits, and expectations. The consultation helps the patient make an informed decision about whether to proceed with the body contouring treatment and, if so, what treatment plan best suits their individual needs.

How to Prepare for Your Non-Surgical Body Contouring Appointment

Body contouring is not a weight-loss solution but a way to sculpt and tone specific body areas. It’s essential to have realistic expectations about the outcome of the procedure, which is the first way you can best prepare for treatment. Drink plenty of water before your appointment to stay hydrated and to help flush out toxins from your body. Furthermore, caffeine and alcohol can increase anxiety, and alcohol can interfere with the body’s healing process, so it’s best to avoid these substances before your appointment.

The Derm & Rejuvenation Institute staff will provide you with guidelines for preparing for your treatment, and we are always available to answer your questions. By following these steps, you can ensure that your non-surgical body contouring appointment goes smoothly and that you receive the best possible results.

The Procedure

These procedures are non-invasive, meaning no incisions, cutting, or needles are involved. During the CoolSculpting procedure, a device is applied to the targeted area. The CoolSculpting applicators use vacuum technology to grasp the treatment area securely. Patients may feel a brief cold sensation as the applicator is applied, but the area quickly becomes numb from the cooling. While the applicator is applied to the skin, it will cool the fat in that area to the point that it undergoes cryolipolysis. These fat cells will never return.

During the EmSculpt portion of the appointment, a different device is applied, generating high-intensity electromagnetic energy to induce muscle contractions. With EmSculpt, exposure to intense contractions prompts the muscle tissue to respond and adapt. This response leads to a complete renovation of its inner structure, resulting in muscle growth and a more toned and sculpted physique.

During an EmSculpt procedure, the patient may feel intense muscle contractions, similar to what is experienced during a high-intensity workout. The sensation is generally described as intense but tolerable, and many patients report a mild warming or tingling sensation in the treatment area.

Recovery After Treatment

Following the procedure, patients may experience redness, swelling, or tenderness in the treatment area, but these symptoms typically subside within a few hours to a few days. Patients may feel like they have just done a high-octane workout in the EmSculpt areas.

It’s important to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated following your combined CoolSculpting and EmSculpt treatment, as this can help to promote the removal of any waste products from the body and speed up the recovery process. Listen to your body and rest when you feel it necessary, but no downtime is associated with either treatment, so patients do not need to miss a beat.

What are the Results of Non-Surgical Body Contouring?

The timeline for seeing results after CoolSculpting or EmSculpt can vary depending on several factors, including the number of areas treated, the amount of fat or muscle tissue present, and your body’s unique metabolism and healing process.

Typically, results from CoolSculpting can become visible within a month of the procedure, although complete metabolism and elimination of treated fat cells may take several months.[5]

With EmSculpt, patients may see results within a few months of the procedure as the body builds new muscle tissue. It takes time for the muscle tissue to develop and sculpt the body.
