We recommend that for the first few days not to lay down on your face especially if you are swollen. Be careful not to place your pretty face on any dirty surfaces that would introduce bacteria into the injection sites!

To avoid bruising we recommend using Tylenol for any possible pain after Radiesse. Blood thinners such as aspirin, Excedrin, ibuprofen, Aleve or Advil can thin the blood and cause bruising. If you are on any of these blood thinners or coumadin for medical reasons, please do NOT stop your medications for any reason.

There is immediate swelling initially after dermal filler treatment; there might be redness from numbing cream or even bruising at side of dermal filler injections. Injection in certain areas may cause slight skin distension and you might feel a bit sore or tender for a few days even. For some patients there is no discomfort, bruising or pain and can return to normal activities. Application of make up (if you wear any!) is perfectly acceptable after dermal fillers.

Fillers that last longer include:

  1. Juvederm Voluma
  2. Radiesse
  3. Sculptra
  4. Restylane Lyft
