Molluscum Contagiosum

Conveniently located to serve the areas of Santa Monica and Los Angeles

Molluscum contagiosum (MC) is a viral infection of the skin. MC lesions look like tiny, button-like bumps over the body. They can be spread through direct contact, including sexual contact, or by indirect contact, such as sharing towels, or from swimming pools. Various treatments for MC include cryotherapy, cantheratin, or various creams. In patients with a suppressed immune system the infection may become widespread.

Dr. Kormeili will carefully evaluate each case and make the most appropriate treatment recommendation.
